To ensure the success of The Frayser Newsletter & Blue Calendar, we need regular content that is relevant to all things Frayser, and volunteers like you to help us distribute our growing publication. We would like to share our submissions guidelines with you.
Deadlines for Submission:
all news articles and calendar events must be submitted by the 10th of each month for inclusion in the next month’s newsletter.
BE SURE TO read submission requirements and complete the form below. If you have any questions or issues email: submit@fraysercdc.org AND BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR ORGANIZATION’S NAME IN THE SUBJECT LINE.


News Submission (via Form):
- Limit stories to 250 words or less
- Not just a flyer - please write an article
- Include names, positions and organization or company
- Please double check spelling of names for accuracy
Photo Submission (via Email):
- Two (2) photo limit
- Email photos with SUBJECT LINE: Newsletter Photos for (Organization’s Name)
- Include names, positions and organization or company
- Label photos with Named, Event and Date (e.g., Dance_StateJazz_5-21-22)
- Include a caption with description of each photo and reference photo label
- Include name and position(s) in caption
NOTE: Captions are always appreciated even if we don’t print them; they help us identify players and games to match the stories.

Photo Submission (via Email):
- Set camera to highest quality setting HQ
- Optimal minimum file size: 1600 x 1200 pixels
Photo e-mailing tips:
- Do not compress or optimize your photos
- Select only your best shots and send as JPGs

All articles submitted for publication are subject to editing. We reserve the right to edit or remove any post for any reason.
